Computer Information Systems

This program provides hands-on experience with the newest technology. Students work on a PC network and use the Internet as a research tool to design web pages and communicate with the industry. Students gain hands-on experience in Systems Operations and Computer Programming as they work with current business applications. Students gain practical knowledge as they install software and hardware and use multimedia technology on their own network system. Internships with school district technology coordinators and local businesses in web hosting and computer system design are available.

  • Earn up to six college credits; third-year math credit is available.
