The mission of the Enrichment Department is to provide creative programs that will enhance artistic prowess and offer rigorous academic opportunities that will augment the culture of the students of the Genesee Valley BOCES.

The Enrichment Department of the Genesee Valley BOCES coordinates programs with component school districts. We offer general Enrichment as well as Gifted and Talented programs, Arts-In-Education presentations, several competitions, and a Summer Institute program.

Workshops, performances, competitions, and residencies, provide students with opportunities to engage in hands-on activities, connect with other students with similar interests, and awaken their curiosity to explore new possibilities in the world around and beyond them.

Ongoing research proves how arts-in-education programs provide learning experiences that are active and experiential, reflective, social, evolving and focused on problem-solving.
